A brief introduction to who we are
Samantha (Owner): Sam has always had a deep passion for animals. She has always been passionate about understanding the way our animals communicate with us. She initially studied and worked in the equine industry in the UK. When she returned to SA she was not comfortable with some of the harsh methods used for dog behaviour. This sparked her passion for wanting to make a difference in this industry, so she went on to study and qualify in Ethology- focusing on canines. Her dog behaviour business (Be the Dog) has been around since 2012. Sam is brilliant at looking at things from your pup’s point of view. Sam will be the one out there with your pups every day, making sure their time spent at the daycare is quality and that all of their needs are met.
Caity & Lindy (Owners): We are a mother and daughter who have been surrounded by rescue animals our entire lives. This passion sparked the beginning of Caity Cares “at your home” dog grooming (specialising in rescue and nervous dogs), and Caity Cares premium pet sitting, which has been going since 2009 & 2015. We will be the ones keeping things organised behind the scenes while Sam is focusing her full attention on your pups.
